Summary:
The role of the Account Manager is to establish and cultivate customer relationships, visit with customers and employees to assure service level satisfaction, develop service offering and proposals in response to customer requests and provide a disciplined transition of the awarded contract to project assigned personnel.
The work involves reviewing contract specifications, proposals, scope of work and other detailed cost budgeting.
Job Duties:
Meet and provide project orientation as new team members are assigned to the project Improve the operational systems, policies and procedures in support of the Organization's and Division's mission - specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning Develop, maintain, and manage individual and departmental reports such as KPI's, BPR's Studies production schedules, forecasts manpower levels, and coordinates with Human Resources department for on-time completion of job request Management of account specific budget in coordination with the Operations Manager and/or Area Manager Works with HR to recruit, interview and screen new personnel Regular interaction with customer hiring managers Respond to customer request for additional personnel, equipment or services in a timely manner Regular field visits to coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise all direct and matrixed team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise all direct and matrixed team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work Attend early morning safety meetings/customer meetings in remote locations as appropriate to service account Assist Business Development/Sales to bring on new customers Competencies:
Ability to establish and cultivate customer relationships is a must Ability to effectively prioritized and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Strong communication skills are a must in order to provide support regarding contract execution Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical focus is strongly preferred 5
year's experience in a customer service environment Must be able to travel/drive to client field sites within assigned territory on a regular basis Previous Oil & Gas Account Management experience Must reside within 1 hour of Carlsbad, NM Advanced MS Word and Excel skills & proficient in MS Office Suite Performs basic clerical and administrative tasks that require fundamental office assistance Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record About Us The Danos Difference Team up with Danos, and be a part of one of the safest and best-performing companies in the business.
